About Janelle

Janelle has worked for almost 30 years with organizations helping them design service and brand alignment strategies. Her passion for service began when she realized that simply delivering excellent service did little to impact customer loyalty. She understands that the critical link for building customer loyalty is created when a strong brand position is actually delivered by staff, especially when customers have complaints.

About Jeff

Jeff is a licensed psychologist and Dean of Education for the University of Philosophical Research in Los Angeles. He taught research methodologies at John F. Kennedy University in California.

In his role at TMI, he provides statistical analysis on client audits and surveys, creates our financial marketing plans and, configures our website.

In addition to his research and investigative skills, Jeffrey is a renowned communicator. For over fifteen years, he hosted the weekly, national public television series, Thinking Allowed. He is also the 2001 recipient of the “Pathfinder Award” from the Association for Humanistic Psychology.

Jeffrey is currently involved in extensive computer analysis of the financial markets and is proficient in a range of statistical and artificial intelligence software packages. He is also qualified to teach Time Manager for Outlook™.

About Lewis

Lewis oversees all facets of account management and logistics from TMI US corporate offices in Las Vegas.

Lewis Barlow has had a lifelong passion for China, technology, and sports. He has lived almost ten years of his life in Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and Mainland China. In 1982, he was part of the first student exchange program between the United States and Mainland China, where he lived for one year in Guilin.

His first position in China was in Beijing working for the giant sports management company, IMG. There, he became acquainted with some of Chinaʼs top athletes. He played a key role in selling the Esso official sponsorship of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), and the Nokia official sponsor package of the 1999 CBA All-Stars game. He initiated, planned, and coordinated “Beijing Basketball Night,” the biggest CBA sponsor/fan event in the 1998-1999 season, involving top CBA stars and advertising sponsors.

His most recent work in Asia was with 24/7 Media Asia, the on-line advertising wing of Chinadotcom. In that position, he was Director of Sales for the Shanghai office. While with 24/7 Media Asia, he directed a Chinese sales team of eight, using Mandarin as his main language. In this position, he assigned, consolidated and reviewed key accounts. He analyzed the budget structure of clients, and he produced 24/7ʼs 30-page Power Point sales presentation. He helped define the companyʼs market position in China and trained the sales staff. He was 24/7ʼs lead sales person and directly initiated many of 24/7 Shanghaiʼs top accounts with such companies as Motorola, Compaq, Bosch, and Seagrams.

About Vanessa

Vanessa is a US-UK dual national who lives in the United States. Most recently she lived and worked in Abu Dhabi in the Middle East. Her international senior management experience covers General Management, Sales Management, Training, and Coaching.

She has valuable hands-on experience as an entrepreneur, setting up and running a business in the logistics industry, which created a turnover in excess of 3,000,000 GBP.

Her focus in the United States has been to build teams and help transform struggling organizations into successful sales organizations, in spite of the global recession. She did this by focusing on building sales processes, systems, training, motivation, and coaching.

In addition to her managerial  experience, Vanessa has developed a strong ability to train staff in a variety of management skills, sales skills, presentation skills, and customer service.

Cynthia Nolan

Our People: Cynthia Nolan — Senior Account Director


  • For three years in a row, Cynthia maintained the highest Net Promoter Scores for customer loyalty in the nation while at Verizon as the Director of Government Accounts.
  • Managed the highly successful AT&T Complaint Is a Gift training program for call centers across the United States to improve customer retention.
  • She studied Business Administration at Bellevue College in Washington.

About Cynthia:

Cynthia is a dynamic leadership professional with twenty five years of experience as a Sales & Marketing Director for the largest wireless carriers in the nation.  Under her leadership, her sales teams performed at peak levels.  At McCaw Cellular/ATT Wireless she was a six time annual winner of the Circle of Excellence Award for exceptional sales performance and  leadership voted by her peers.

Besides her leadership in the wireless industry, Cynthia worked in management for Nordstrom and also has a background in Medical Supply Sales.

Her strong leadership skills, sales experience, and 25 years of management make her the obvious choice to deliver sales, leadership, customer satisfaction, and employee development courses for both TMI and TACK. She has delivered programs to all different departments within the organizations  for which she has worked and is flexible moving from one industry to another. Cynthia is currently in charge of The Customer Experience for TMI and TACK accounts in the U.S.

She is a Senior Level Toastmaster and belongs to numerous leadership organizations in the Pacific Northwest where she resides. She is active in the Chamber of Commerce where she often speaks to members and community groups.

She resides in Seattle, Washington and also has a home in Arizona.

About Cathy:

She lived in South Africa for a period of time, and while there began a career as a Professional Actor, South Africa & US:  21 on-camera industrials, 16 on-camera commercials, 38 voice-overs, and 4 films. During that period she held administration roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Yale University School of Medicine & Yale-New Haven Hospital while acting.

She is a quick learner and delivers programs for TACK-TMI in the US and Canada for JLR Land Rover. Her feedback on programs is perfect or as close to perfect as a trainer can get.

About Dianne

About Duane

Duane founded XL-Color, an event graphics company, an organization that  grew to be a multi-million dollar organization with its work being displayed at Radio City Music Hall, HBO, Houston Astrodome, Rockefeller Center and multiple NFL Superbowls. Duane was Director of Sales, at Brooks Fiber. While there, he was one out of five directors nationally to achieve and exceed revenue plan in a three-city region. Duane was also Branch Manager, at Sprint and while there was a Member of the President’ Club and CEO Bill Esrey’s Leadership Forum. Duane’s branch climbed from last place to over budget performance and received national recognition (Circle of Excellence) for his results.

As a Sales Manager at MCI. Member of Circle of Excellence, Duane took over a team that had never achieved its revenue plan and under his management achieved over 130% performance. As a Salesman, at Sonitrol Communications, Duane achieved No. 1 volume sales representative.

Duane has worked with a TACK $100 million dollar plus company whose work is delivered exclusively over the phone. He coaches sales teams on establishing rapport, uncovering needs, asking meaningful questions, setting up appointments, and closing the sale.

Duane has now joined the Safety expertise team, as well as continuing his work in sales for TACK.
